I liked the 6 Yoga Exercises You Won't Be Embarrassed to Do at Your Desk article the most! As someone who sits at a desk at work for somethings four hours at a time without standing, I really appreciated this exercises that will help me physically and mentally. I constantly find my back hurting after work, especially if I get lost in a work project and forget to leave my office for more than two hours. I have tried to sit at my desk the proper way as pictured above, but often find myself slipping into my old form, especially when I get so absorbed in my work. I think I am going to start setting alarms throughout the work day to remind myself to get up and do one of the exercises mentioned in the article. The open stretch chest and the shoulder roll interest me the most as those are the areas that seem the most sore after a long work day. I will definitely implement this in this upcoming week and write a follow up post letting you all know how it went. Here's to a happier work week!
Hey Jasmine, I have heard of deskercise before but never really looked into being something I would do or even enjoy. However, my friend works at an office and she says that a lot of people actually do this quite often to keep from being stationary for too long for health reasons and they say it is very beneficial! I hope it works for you, and will be interested to see how it turns out for you in the process.
